In 1978, he joined Nippon Kodo Co. Since then, he has held positions at the head office, Sendai branch, Fukuoka branch, and Osaka branch, gaining extensive experience in the fragrance industry.
In 2013, he joined Kitotenkundo, where the company combines traditional fragrance expertise with a forward-thinking approach. He worked to further expand operations and improve customer service.
In 2017, he transitioned to Nippon Kodo Holdings, Inc. to assume a company-wide strategic management role.
Following his tenure as President and Representative Director of Koju Tenkundo Inc., he currently serves as an advisor, providing guidance on temples and fragrance experiences in the Kamakura area.
He continues to contribute to the wellbeing of individuals through the application of fragrance.
